Join us for a fun, hands-on morning of creativity, storytelling, and self-expression at Full Moon Book Garden! Led by Jill, a passionate English teacher with over 15 years of classroom experience, this workshop is designed to help young writers explore new styles, build confidence, and bring their ideas to life.

What We’ll Do:

🎨 Design Your Own Writing Journal: Kick off the morning by customizing a personalized journal to keep all your ideas in one place.

✍️ Learn Blackout Poetry: Discover how to find hidden poems inside existing pages of text using art and creativity.

🔍 Practice Mystery Writing: Learn the secrets of crafting suspense, clues, and twist endings.

🚀 Open Writing Time: Work on any genre or topic of your choice—fiction, poetry, comics, or journal entries!

🌟 Share & Feedback Time: Get constructive, encouraging feedback from Ms. Jill and fellow writers (sharing is always optional!).

Note: All materials (journals, art supplies, and writing tools) are provided.

Ideal for ages 8-12

While the owners of Full Moon Book Garden are teachers, this is not a childcare program. Children who are dropped off for the event must have a signed waiver completed by a parent or guardian before participation. Printed waivers will be available at Full Moon Book Garden
